Heritage under Threat: annual meeting of the Centre for Digital Heritage in Leiden

The annual meeting of the Centre for Digital Heritage (CDH) will take place at the Faculty of Archaeology, Leiden University on 15-16 June 201. The theme will be Heritage under Threat. During two days, five keynotes, 19 papers and seven posters on this topic will be presented. For a list of accepted papers and further information please visit the conference website. As part of the conference, Dr. Sada Mire (Leiden Unversity) will give a keynote lecture on her new MOOC Heritage under Threat. Other keynote speakers are:

  • Session 1: Erica Nocerino – Heritage under threat: fast 3D scanning with portable mobile mapping systems
  • Session 2: Francesca Cigna – Very high resolution space radar: a new technology to measure looting and damage in UNESCO monuments and archaeological sites
  • Session 3: Hella Hollander – Everybody wants to play FAIR, but how do we put the principles into practice?
  • Session 4: to be announced

The registration for the conference is now open. Early bird fees will be available until 14th of April, 2017.
